I figured it would be good to have all of those posts in one place not only for your reference but mine as well. You have no idea how many times Veronica and I have been discussing what to write for a given week and neither of us could remember if we've tackled a topic yet! So there it is...]
Rather than solicit a post suggestion for this week, Veronica and I decided to take a look back at our first full calendar year as swingers. Next week, we’ll look forward and speculate as to what the coming year might have in store for us.
I can’t remember if either of us blogged about it, but Veronica reminded me the other day that one of her New Years resolutions last year was to have some sort of group sex during every month of the year. Not necessarily with a dozen different couples and/or single women, mind you, but either a 3some or 4some every month seemed like a fun goal to aim for.
Did we succeed? Almost, but not quite. I’d say 11 out of 12 months isn’t too bad 
Veronica: I issued that challenge for fun. Thankfully Hubman and I did not take the challenge too seriously and we did have fun! Lots of fun! I hope our partners had as much fun as we did!

Before I ever had a blog, even before I had my Blogspot page, Veronica had a profile on AFF looking for a woman for herself, to explore her then curiosity about being with another woman. Can I just tell you what an overbearing asshole I was? Keep in mind that at the time, she was the only woman I had ever had sex with [yes, new readers, I was a virgin when I met her!]. Part of my support was pure selfishness- if she found a woman to explore with, then hopefully this woman would want to join us for a 3some, right?
Why don’t I let Veronica pick on me a bit?
Veronica: It was almost like having homework. I would get home from work or a walk and I would have Hubman nagging me, did you call so and so, did you text this one? Did you email that one? I was getting to the point where I was considering hiring an escort just so we could have the damn threesome and I could get peace and quiet. Thankfully, once we started swinging in earnest, this stopped. Nothing takes the fun out of something like being nagged about it.
Even after we had been swinging for a bit, I was letting thoughts of others interfere with my relationship with Veronica.
But now, I’d like to think that I’m much more relaxed about our relationships with others. Back in September we had a date with a nice couple, they’re attractive, it seemed like we had good chemistry and we talked about getting together again. And then, they never followed up. We tried to set something up a few times, got no response from them, so we moved on. A year ago? I would not have reacted so nonchalantly and probably would have driven Veronica nuts.
Veronica: Maybe not nuts, but I might have started grinding my molars to a powder from the stress.

When we started swinging, we were adamant that it would be something we always did together, that we would not do anything apart from each other. That changed! First, in July Veronica was comfortable with me seeing Southern Vixen without her there. But she knew SoVix and was perfectly comfortable with that. Then in September I hooked-up with a blogger friend while I was traveling for work, someone Veronica had spoken with on the phone but didn’t really know. In October, while in Las Vegas we pushed our boundaries further when she and I meet a friend in the hotel bar, then Veronica went window shopping while I took our hotwife friend to our room and had some fantastic sex.
It almost seems like I’m becoming a “hot-husband”!
Veronica: The “hot-husband” is fun. I like hearing about Hubman’s adventures. I am personally not interested in playing alone, but I do enjoy hearing about Hubman’s tales. I’m still sticking with my rule that I need to have a conversation with the woman before Hubman fucks her, just for my own piece of mind. And I like it if Hubman takes pictures, but I don’t always ask to see them. Also ladies, if you are having sex with Hubman, please shoot a bunch of HNT pics of him for me. I am still a craptacular photographer and you would all be doing me a BIG favor.
I also had the opportunity to have sex with someone at a party with everyone watching. It was pretty stinking exciting. However note to self: do not get fucked on the carpet without laying down a towel or something first. I had some pretty slamming rugburn from that.
What will the next year have in store for us? We have no idea, but come back next Monday for some suggestions
