I woke up this morning, opened the window shade then crawled back into bed.  Low on the horizon the sky had a nice orange-yellow tint to it, but I had trouble capturing the image when shooting from inside a relatively dark room.  Oh well, I’ll figure it out one of these days, just not today.  I still like the picture.  I did learn that sometimes auto-focus can get confused, as it kept wanting to focus on the window frame and not the trees, so I switched to manual focus and got the image I wanted.

Tomorrow morning I’m going to be waking up in a hotel room in Providence, RI with Veronica beside me.
Who knows what image will inspire me then
