(If you’re looking for my Half-nekkid Thursday post, click here)
I came across this container in my building at work and had to go back to my office for my camera.  No, I didn’t open it!

Personally, I feel much more secure knowing that a common, plastic garbage-buggy, like the type issued by my little municiple waste service, inured by a — um, what color is that? Yellow and Pink? — sticker can protect us from radioactive waste. Who would’ve ever thought?

I’ve got a great story all about radioactive containers. Remind me to tell you one day. (I took radio-iodine to treat my cancer.)

Ms Scarlett, T- you about summed up my reaction when I saw this container!

Ivey- To be fair, the container is in a restricted access area of the building. And I don’t think there’s really anything “radioactive” in the typical sense. We use radio-immunoassays in the lab and the waste from those, even in microgram amounts, is considered radioactive waste.

Vic- I’d like to hear that story!
