I awoke early, earlier than I wanted, but the view was well worth it

Soon the clouds and haze started to burn off, with the sun shining brightly in the sky

Out in the distance, the never-ending world of oceanic commerce carried on

A lone seagull drifted lazily past my 11th floor room

A man drove up and down the beach, cleaning and raking it

A little later in the morning, my friends returned
