HNT Bike Porn Edition

Yesterday’s Project365 post, Gears, suggested that maybe I got a new bike.  My friend IM@Sexy Runners commented “You know I’m all about bike porn” and when I confirmed that yes, this is my new bike he commented “I NEED BIKE PORN!!!!!!”

I had been researching bikes for a while, since it was becoming increasingly clear that my old road bike was too small for me, so I listed it on Craigslist and to my surprise it sold in less than a day.  Full of motivation (not to mention several hundred dollars from my old bike) and with great weather last weekend, I headed to my favorite local bike shop, test rode a few bikes, and decided on this one.  And wouldn’t you know it, the day after I pick up my new bike, the weather turned to shit :-/

Veronica is also showing off something new this week, though in her case it didn’t cost anywhere near as much!

      6? Let’s see, I think we have 4 1/2. The 1/2 is my daughters trailer bike that I attach to my mountain bike and we’ll be adding another one later this spring, when we get DB a new bike that fits him.
