To the NEW Hubman’s Hangout!

Took me long enough, right? It seems longer, but about 2 weeks ago I mentioned that I got my own domain, it just took awhile for me to get around to setting it up.  And as you can see, it’s still a work in progress, so the appearance might change a little bit day-by-day as I tweak the set-up (and learn HOW to tweak the setup!).

Speaking of set-up, I’d like to thank 2 blogger friends who stepped up and really helped me out yesterday when I was having trouble and was extremely frustrated.  I’m not going to name them (because I don’t want to inadvertently send people their way, looking for free help), but they know who they are and they have my sincere thanks!

Now I’d like to enlist the help of my other friends in the blogosphere.  Please, update your blogrolls, your feed reader accounts, your favorites, whatever you use to find me each day.

And if you’d like to be really nice, maybe you’ll mention my new blog and link to me the next time that you post.  That would be make me really happy and I’d appreciate it greatly!

    Still don’t like the theme though :P I’ll help you find a new one if you want, that’s how tired I am of seeing it, lol. Header tho? That’s a really good choice.

    Tweaking tip: If you use Firefox, download Firebug extension. It allows you to view the blog, turn “off” and on lines of code to see what little part of the blog they affect and then make changes to the code and immediately see what changed WITHOUT actually changing the real code. When you’ve changed the right thing, then go to the theme editor and change it permanently in the stylesheet.

      You know what fixed some of the trouble I was having? Publishing a new post and not just having imported content from my other blog! Maybe we can talk about themes some other time, but feel free to suggest something, if it’ll make you happy ;-)

      Thanks for the tweaking tip, I do use Firefox and will look into that.

    I think the font is too big, but then again, we’ve talked about the fact I’m the wrong judge on that. :)

      I do think that the post title font is too big, I just haven’t tried to figure out how to adjust it yet- one step at a time!

    Thanks everyone, for your kind words, I’m really pleased with how it’s shaping up.

    About the header, that was 100% dumb luck, having that picture in my archives and it just “works” with the idea of Hubman hanging out somewhere.
