It’s no secret that one of the perks of occasional travel for my job is taking advantage of the opportunity to meet people I know through blogging or Twitter.  One of my oldest blog friends is Southern Vixen, Veronica and I became friends with her way back in October 2008 and I first met her in person the following month.  As soon as I knew that I was going to be traveling to her area this week, I didn’t hesitate to let her know and I arranged an extra day so that we could spend some time together .

While she couldn’t spend the night with me and had to return home to her family, I will get to see her again on Wednesday, before I pick up my co-workers at the airport and move on with the real reason I’m here.

She looks good even when she’s walking away, doesn’t she?
