Last fall a colleague of mine lost his 14 yr old son to a valiant 3 yr long battle with brain cancer. I can’t imagine the pain a parent must feel when they bury their child.

It’s not very often that I get out after work with friends for a drink or two (or three…) but Friday afternoon I did just that! It was good to sit around and socialize with friends and get to know some co-workers that I didn’t really know all that well before, including one really cute database programmer. Or something like that, I was too busy checking her out
