[Read this post if you're wondering where the show was.  All pictures are click-able to view full-sized]

Before the show even started, I got some pretty cool pictures! Directly behind this rainbow appeared late in the evening.

Would you believe that this picture is straight-out-of-camera, no editing?

The 4 brights spots at the middle of the image are F-15 Eagles doing their flyover at the end of The Star Spangled Banner

And here are some of my favorite pictures of the fireworks.  I learned pretty quickly that getting good pictures of fireworks is not that easy and I never got any pictures that I really love.  But still, these aren’t too bad, if I may say so myself!

Sunday was hot, low-90′s kinda hot, so the kids asked Veronica to set up the sprinkler for them to run around in.
For some reason, Darling Boy reminds me of the dog, trying to catch a drink. I told you he’s a dufus!

Sunday evening I’ll be taking DB into Boston [I'm writing this on Sunday afternoon and scheduling it to post at midnight].  We’re members of the Museum of Science and were able to but tickets for their 4th of July event.  We’ll be watching the fireworks from the roof of the museum parking deck.  The fireworks show will be just about a mile away from our vantage point and the view is pretty good!

On Friday I had to go into the Museum to pick up our tickets and while I was there I took a picture to show DB where we’ll be for the show.  (If you follow me on Twitter you might have noticed the trouble I had when I missed a turn trying to get there. I HATE driving in Boston!)  See that bridge in the distance? That’s the Longfellow Bridge and the barges with the fireworks are anchored just beyond it.

I’m sure I’ll be posting pictures sometime Monday!
