On my trips up and down I-35 to Austin or Dallas-Ft Worth I pass a HUGE Cabela’s store. I’ve heard of the company but had never been in one of their stores so when I felt like taking a rest break from my drive back from DFW yesterday, I decided to stop in and explore.
It’s pretty difficult to miss the store with this visible from the interstate!
I gotta say, if you have any doubt about Texans’ love of guns, just check out this collection! While I don’t own any firearms, I have more than a passing familiarity with them, but I had no idea there was such a variety! You may need to click it to open full-sized in a new window to get a good look at the collection along the wall. In addition, the display case was full of handguns and there were more rifles and shotguns that can’t be seen from here!
