I’ve decided something, it might shock some of you…

I don’t like seeing everything before I meet someone.

There, I said it, I’d prefer NOT to see naked or mostly-naked pictures of a woman before meeting her!  I realized this just recently, when I met my FWB here in San Antonio.  She contacted me on AFF and enclosed a face picture with her message, since she has no pictures on her profile.  The first time we IM’d we shared some more pictures, but we were both fully dressed in all of them.  I asked and indicated that I would be happy to share more revealing pictures, but she declined my offer.  When we met in a bookstore, all I knew from pictures was that she had a pretty face, a warm smile, and a nice trim figure.

No idea what her tits looked like.  Not a clue how she grooms her lady bits.  Nothing graphic at all.

Much later that night, as I slowly undressed her, there was added excitement as I discovered each inch of her body, an excitement that would have been tempered had I seen more in pictures.

I’m glad she didn’t show me more!

I have several pictures on my profile, as do Veronica and I on our profiles on swingers sites.  Believe it or not, but I’m actually more selective what I show there than I do for HNT or Wanton Wednesday.  Of course, most of our profile pictures are recycled pictures that you’ve already seen here!  Well, except for the face pictures, you don’t get to see those here ;-)

I’m curious, if you have a profile online somewhere, how much do you show, if anything?  Are you turned off by profiles that are “in your face” with explicit pictures or do you like to see that?  Comments are most welcome!

    I prefer the tease… but if it is an adult dating site (more hardcore than AFF), I might have more skin showing, but not as the main pic. And sometimes on my blog I show those bits and pieces if it pertains to the story.

    WW and HNT are of course exceptions… ;)

    i might have been more sharing with boob pics in the past but my rule for more explicit pictures has always been “the only way you might get a picture, is if you’ve seen it in real life”!

    if people like to share their photos with me, i don’t mind as long as there is a mutual interest in one another. a cock shot attached to a “Hi my name is…” email is a complete turn off.

    I never show any photos on any website. I am married and not in an open marraige, so I never share my photos until I know the guy is for real (FB and Linked). Then only I show a head and shoulders pic. I will later on share a more full length pic. And I never share my name until after our first meet. But hey, that is just me! O and the guys that sends me pics of their penises goes onto the immediate ignore list!

    I don’t want to show everything on those site. My profile on AFF has some picture with me in lingery, some you might have seen on my blog. But I would never show pics of my face unless I’ve receive one from the person.

    I have to agree with ASM about the cock shots. I never respond to a guy that sends them.

    When I was the unicorn on the swinging sites. I hated and still hate seeing cock pics. They are not attractive.
    I have put some alluring boob pics up when chatting since they are my largest asset.

    Yep, agree with the ladies re: cock shots. Seriously. Seen one, seen ‘em all. Well, maybe not, but usually it ain’t anything special. *g*

    As for me, I don’t post full face shots – you get a hint of my face, but don’t see it fully until we chat. There are sexy lingerie shots and tasteful nude pics, not the gaping beaver shot, on my AFF site, but not as the main pic and only accessible to those who I accept into my friends network (or whatever it’s called).

    My profile picture on AFF was a shot of my back with me in a corset. I have to be careful how I crop things anyway, with the tattoos to watch out for. Teacher said it was the corset shot that drew him in. It’s mysterious but very obvious that it is a corset, so sexy too.

    I’m with you. On all my profiles, it’s the same pic. Classy, dressed, alluring, hair covering my face so you can get an *idea* of what I look like but not TRULY. And then pictures I send after that are usually face shots and after I really get to know them, *possibly* an HNT shot (classy, but not revealing).

    I appreciate the same. I don’t want to exchange naked pictures with people on dating sites, that’s not what I”m in it for. In fact, CL is well known for people just being “picture collectors”. Eww. No thanks. I want to know there is some attraction and then lets meet.

    This is exactly how I feel too Hubman. Not unusual at all. As long as you know that the initial pictures were enough to entice you to go to the next step then I think that’s good enough. Picture collectors, as Vixen said, seems very creepy to me.
