Apparently a number of you were wondering just how I managed to take this weeks Wanton Wednesday photo. There were 12 comments and 8 of them were asking!
Except for Emmy, it should be no surprise that she knew exactly what I did.
There is an app for the iPhone called Fototimer, it lets you set a 2, 5, 10 or 20 second delay. In many hotel rooms there is a shelf where the clean towels are stacked up. All I had to do was set the timer, use the towels to hold the phone in place and get into the shower. Two or 3 tries (and a slightly wet floor) later and I had a good photo. A little cropping in Photoshop and it was all set to share.
Now you know my secret!
Here’s the outtake. I originally wanted to portray how low on the wall the shower head was but I didn’t like the composition. After a little cropping I think it’s presentable.
