We’ve reviewed a few toys for The Adult Toy Shoppe before and they’ve been a pleasure to work with, so when I was contacted and asked to select something from either the anal toys or bondage categories, of course I said yes. After browsing around for a bit, I settled on some nipple clamps. Veronica generally prefers a gentler touch on her nipples, but I thought we could give it a try anyway.

Veronica: We were both curious about them.  They arrived pretty quickly in discreet packaging.  We tried them on immediately to do Wanton Wednesday photos.  My 1st thought was “ouch!” but thankfully the clamps were adjustable, so we were able to make them more comfortable for us to wear.  Once on, they were pretty cute.  I liked how they brought my nipples out and I thought the chain gave me a very tough girl look, which is different from the usual cute housewife, naughty librarian look I normally sport.

I had to ask her a follow-up question – would she agree with the statement that nipple clamps might be better suited for a woman who enjoys a rougher touch on her nipples, or maybe a little pain with her pleasure?

Yes.. I thought they were interesting but I don’t see how they would benefit me. Someone who enjoyed the rougher stuff would have a use for it.

So 2 women, neither of whom particularly enjoys a rougher touch on her nipples, agree that while the nipple clamps are well-made and easy & fun to use, they’re not quite for them.

I do have a friend who enjoys a painfully rough touch on her nipples, I’ll have to get her opinion when the opportunity arises!

Thigh and Wrist Cuff Set (Review)

I’ve been a terrible sex toy reviewer- way back in mid-May the wonderful people at The Adult Toy Shoppe sent Veronica and I this Thigh and Wrist Cuff Set, we used the set a few times, including when our submissive unicorn friend came over to play sometime in June, but we totally forgot to write the review.  So with our apologies to The Adult Toy Shoppe for the delay, here’s our review…

Veronica is a fan of being restrained, gently, and we already have under-the-bed restraints, so we figured this set would be a nice addition to our collection.  Personally, I enjoy putting her on her back and fucking her good and hard while her legs are spread wide.  Having these cuffs to help keep her legs wide open and her arms by her side sounded like an very good idea!

The cuffs, as comfortable are they, are quite sturdy and it would be very difficult for someone to get out of them, if that is your goal.  The cuffs are made out of padded neoprene and are quite adjustable, I imagine they would fit a wide range of sizes. Because they are so adjustable, you’re not limited to attaching them to the wrist and thigh, why not try the upper arm, lower or higher on the thigh, or maybe down on the ankle?  Since Veronica has been the only wearer of the thigh and wrist cuff set (so far!), it’s only fitting that she gets a chance to offer her perspective.

The cuffs are very comfortable and the material is soft.  I do like a gentle restraint and these fit the bill.    I am not very good at BDSM because I do not like pain and I do not like to feel trapped.  The cuffs were restraining, and Hubman was probably gentle with the restraining but they did not feel tight or uncomfortable.

I guess we need to clarify, the cuffs are designed to keep the wearers arms down by his or her side and attached to the thighs, they do NOT keep the legs open, but when used with our under-the-bed restraints they do.  Still, used alone the wrist and thigh cuffs are fun, adds a way to tease your partner and prevent him or her from using their hands and adding an element of control.

Thanks again to the Adult Toy Shoppe for sending us this simple yet versatile thigh and wrist cuff set, we look forward to using it many more times in the future, just the two of us or with friends.  Maybe one of these days I’ll end up restrained and at Veronica’s mercy!

Clone-A-Willy Review

It’s no secret that I travel a bit for work, which of course puts a crimp on our sex life. In fact I’m drafting this post in a hotel room in San Diego.  So I thought it would be a fun to check out the novelty Clone-A-Willy kit that The Adult Toy Shoppe graciously offered to send me when I asked about it.  After all, Veronica is really just after my cock, so I might as well see if I can leave a replica of my most important part behind for her amusement while I’m gone ;-)

Except for some common kitchen items that would be needed for mixing the molding ‘stuff’ and the latex, everything is included in the kit.  One thing that is very important is to read the directions thoroughly and carefully before starting anything- a few of the steps in the molding process are time-critical and you don’t want to mess up, there is only one chance to get it right!

Veronica also took some time to read the directions, since she would be doing most of the mixing work.  Keep in mind, the instructions said that I had 2 minutes from the time the water is added to the mixing powder until I had to insert my cock into the tube.  This is NOT something to try on your own, it takes teamwork (more about that later), so guys, forget the idea of surprising your partner with a clone-a-willy of yourself.  Unless you have someone else to help you!

The first step in the process is to cute the molding top to length.  See the tube in the top picture? That’s what the molding mixture is poured into and then I would insert my cock.  Since I’m not 12″ long, Veronica helped got me hard, then I inserted my cock in the tube and made a mark where to trim it (the tube, not my cock!).  Once that is done, it’s time to get all the supplies ready to make the molding mixture.  This is the part that felt like high school chemistry class- mix molding powder with 1 3/4 cups of 98F water, stir well, then insert cock no longer than 90 seconds after starting.  Veronica did the mixing (leaning over the sink, wearing her hooker heels) while I fucked her from behind.  Hey, gotta stay hard, right? When big isn't big enough

Not too long ago, Jamie from The Adult Toy Shoppe contacted me and inquired as to whether I would be interested in reviewing toys for them.  I immediately said yes and suggested to Veronica that perhaps it was finally time to replace our Cyberskin friend.  The Adult Toy Shoppe has one efficient shipping department!  Less than a week after Jamie first contacted me, there was a USPS package from them on my doorstep!

The packaging is kinda cheap and not suitable for storage of the toy.  We’ll eventually have to find something to store it in.  It comes with some lube and also some talcum powder-ish stuff to put on it for storage.  The material gets tacky and sticks to stuff when it’s dry and the powder helps prevent that.  The instructions say that it can be cleaned with soap and water, so since it can’t really be sterilized, it’s not appropriate for sharing amongst other lovers.

The toy is about 7 3/4 long overall and about 1 3/4 inches wide at the widest point.  However, the material is really stretchy, as this picture shows, so the added girth is going to vary depending on how much the material is stretched by the wearer.  It’s also stretchy length-wise, so I could pull it almost all the way down to the base of my cock [I'm, umm, longer than the inner depth of the toy].  Because of the width of the extension and the size of my cock, I end up with this kinda tapered look that I don’t naturally have, as you can see here.  It looks a little funny to me, but I’ll leave it to Veronica to describe how it feels to get fucked when I’m wearing it.

Veronica: I do like the toy as every now and again I like a little extra something.  I like the texture and smell of the toy, and the feel is very soft and flesh like.  The package does not really describe what the product is made of, but it is not made of PVC, phthalates, or latex.  Whatever the materials or lack of materials, I do not find this toy to be irritating.  I do not like to put hard plastic in me and my vagina skin is a little soft and sensitive so some materials can irritate my vagina, which I find can lead to ladybit issues.
