With the day Veronica is going to have on Thursday, taking the day off to literally and figuratively hold her hand is the least I could do
If you’re not aware of what I’m referring to, talking about her day, she wrote about it yesterday.
Happy HNT!

Arriving at my hotel after dark and relaxing after getting rid of some of those pesky clothes, I can only imagine how the view of the Maryland countryside is going to look in the daylight
And how about the size of my room? When I checked in the desk clerk informed me that the hotel was over-booked and would I mind a free upgrade to a king suite? Of course not! I told Veronica that I think this suite is bigger than our first apartment.
(The internet access is really slow however, so I may not visit most of you until I’m back home Friday evening)
Veronica is dressing up and down this week.

I really like the bathrobe my mother got me for Christmas. After I showered Wednesday evening I was sitting around in it [and nothing else
] when Veronica picked up my camera and started taking some photos.
Veronica is resuming her Alphabet HNT series, this week it’s the letter H.
Osbasso is the man to see for the rest of the half-nekkid people.
First, her favorite
Veronica gave me a list of 14 (!) HNTs from the last year that she really liked. I pointed out that a list that long wasn’t really helpful and asked if she could narrow it down a bit, to a single one. After some hemming and hawing on her part, she decided on HNT Mr Mom Edition
Veronica, care to share with us why you chose this particular photo?
While I tease Veronica about her inability to pick just one of my HNTs from the past year, I’ve had the same issue. Eventually I had it narrowed down to 4 that I really liked and had each open in different tabs in my browser, flipping back and forth and deciding which 1 I liked the best.
I ended up choosing HNT- Reading, for a couple of reasons. I love the lighting and the shadows, there is a hint of my face (which I don’t show much of very often at all), and frankly, I think I look pretty good! Sometimes Veronica and I struggle with getting good HNT pictures- I have an image in my mind of what I want, but I fail to adequately communicate that image to her. This was not one of those times- I just laid there reading and she took a bunch of really good pictures.
For my curious readers, here are the other 3 HNTs I was considering
HNT Nooner Edition- I spent some time with my dear friend Southern Vixen in April (the last time we were together actually, I miss her) and I used the remote to grab this photo as we were relaxing in bed
HNT Souvenir Edition- this was a very close runner up, for the same reasons I like HNT Reading so much.
HNT Morning Light- While I was in TX for the summer Veronica joined me in Dallas for a weekend so we could celebrate our wedding anniversary together. She took these shots on that Sunday morning, shortly before I drove her to the airport for her flight home.
I’m looking forward to browsing what others chose as their favorites, see Osbasso for the list of this weeks half-nekkid people and Veronica’s favorite is here, along with the story behind her Twitter avatar.
The first line from my blog on the first of each month in 2010. Feel free to steal this for yourself, that’s what I did!
[Every month has a Project365 post on the first, if there was also another post, I took the first line from that other post, for the sake of variety]
January- “Today I’m starting my Photography Project365″, from Project 365-Day 1, the post that started it all, and still going strong 358 days later!
February- “In numerous posts we’ve talked about boundaries and the importance of you and your partner discussing and setting them” from Swing Shift Volume 30- Communicating Boundaries.
March- “To the NEW Hubman’s Hangout!” from Welcome!, the first post after I migrated from a WordPress-hosted blog to my own domain.
April- “Defense Attorney: Will you please state your age?”, the opening line of an April Fools joke.
May- “Veronica has a post up today that I’m encouraging you all to go read and follow the links.” opened Cancer Sucks, Kids with Cancer Really Sucks
June- “I took several pictures on Monday and couldn’t decide which to use, so I’m posting two completely different ones”, Day 152- Take Your Pick offered 2 pictures for Project 365
July- “It’s the simple things in life that bring me so much pleasure…” HNT Kissing My Wife
August- “On Friday morning I moved out the hotel that’s located 6 miles away from where I go for “work” while I’m here.” Camaraderie was about one of the many positives that came from my move while I was in Texas for 9 weeks.
September- “Tuesday afternoon I was chatting on the phone with a friend and she asked what I was wearing.” For Wanton Wednesday I offered Proof of my (lack of) clothing
October- “Get used to seeing that Twitter hashtag on Friday, the New York Sex Bloggers Calendar Party is tonight, and Veronica and I are going!” Day 274- #NYSBCP showed some of Veronica’s lingerie that she was packing for our trip.
November- “Last week I had a short post about saying goodbye to a unicorn friend that Veronica is no longer interested in playing with.” Comments on Comments, Different Responses highlighted 2 divergent comments we got to a previous post.
December- “I think I’m guilty of it today.” started out Piss-poor Planning, about some frustrating I was experiencing while I was in Orlando at a conference.

I like this look back, it shows the variety of content I publish- pictures, travel, jokes, HNT, swinging-related stuff. If you steal this, please let me know so I can see a glimpse at your year in blogging (or less, if you haven’t been blogging for a year).
My first 2 wishes are for friends, one new and one old
Suburban Slut- we missed meeting each other at the party at BTExpress’s place back in August (when I got to wear the famous OsShirt!), she had some health issues that prevented her from coming. I didn’t know her at the time, Osbasso mentioned this woman who was supposed to be there but couldn’t make it. I then found her blog and Twitter account and we’ve gotten to know each other since then. My wish for her is resolution of the health issues that have continued to plague her over the last several months.
M at Rumblings and Bumblings – M is one of my oldest blogging friends, we actually spoke on the phone for the first time before I even had a blog, way back in August of 2008. In late 2009 she got a new job, which has been very good for her. The downside is that she’s stopped blogging, since she doesn’t have internet access except on her phone. My wish for M is high-speed internet access at home, AND the time to use it (if you know about her kids, you understand that!). M, we miss you in the blogosphere and would love to see you return!!!
My third wish is for each and every one of you who’s reading this-
Whenever you are in life, whatever your hopes and dreams, I hope that the coming year brings you peace, love, and good happiness stuff.

While the intent of the theme is to take a week off from picture taking, I couldn’t resist sharing anyway, ’cause that’s the kind of guy I am

You give but little when you give of your possessions. It is when you give of yourself that you truly give- Kahlil Gibran
So why not give myself? I just hope no one decides to return me!
Veronica is resuming her alphabet theme this week and I’m sure if you visit Osbasso that you’ll find many others participating in the Christmas Tree theme this week.
Veronica has imposed a gag order on my blogging about potential playmates or dates. Yesterday I wrote about a date with a new couple that we had scheduled for last night. And what happened?
It’s been postponed!
The thing is, I’ve done this before, about 18 months ago we felt like we were jinxing ourselves by writing about couples before we connected with them. I wrote “I resolved not to mention the next couple, whoever they may be, until there was something worth writing about”.
So much for that resolution, the next time I’ll listen to Veronica!
=======================================================================
Speaking of Veronica, she doesn’t have an HNT up, but she instructed me to bring my camera to the bedroom for in the morning, and she’s sleeping in a skimpy little g-string, so you never know! In the meantime, visit Osbasso to see who else is getting half-nekkid this week.
There must be quite a few things that a hot bath won’t cure, but I don’t know many of them. ~ Sylvia Plath
I didn’t have any problems that needed curing, but it felt good anyway!
Veronica is resuming her Alphabet HNT series today and Osbasso has the list of the rest of the half-nekkid people.
Happy HNT!
