HNT- Nekkid in Nashville

It’s always a pleasure to discover that a blogger friend you’d love to meet lives somewhere you’ll be passing through anyway.  Such was the case with Nashville and 13messages, along with Bella.  As soon as I could, I let them know when I’d be passing through and we made plans to meet for dinner.

13messages is as nice in person as you would expect from knowing him on-line.  And Bella, well she’s just yummy from head-to-toe AND a sweetheart.  The only downside to the evening was that their respective spouses could not join us.  I just hope that 13 and I didn’t bore her when he and I started talking photography technique!

After Bella dropped me off back at my hotel, I grabbed my camera and went for a walk.  One block to the west there’s a traffic circle (or rotary to some of you) with this statue as the centerpiece- nekkid people!

Thursday is going to be a long day, my waypoint for the night is my mom’s house in the Pittsburgh suburbs, so I have almost 600 miles of driving ahead of me.  Needless to say, I doubt I’ll be getting around to many of your HNTs until later Thursday night when I settle in at moms.

Veronica is playing this week too, though I have no idea what she pulled out of the archives.  But I do know that she’s always worth the visit :-)

Day 248- Murals and DFW Trip

First thing on my agenda when I reached Dallas on Saturday was to have lunch with ShesTooMuch at Twisted Root burgers.  Fortunately the restaurant was literally down the street from the hotel Veronica and I stayed at 2 weeks ago, so I knew exactly where I was going!  After a delicious lunch, we walked down the street to a mural park I noticed on the way there so that I could take some pictures. We then decided to drive up to White Rock Lake and hang out there until she had to return home.  We spent another hour or so enjoying the perfect weather and the pleasure of each others company.  How about this view of the Dallas skyline?

After we parted ways, I spent some time exploring the area before meeting other friends for a night out in Ft Worth.  The whole reason for this little trip was to see theBsideOFme again.  Veronica and I met her and some others back in February when she was in Massachusetts and we had talked about getting together while I was down here.  It took 8 weeks, but we finally succeeded!  We were also joined by OnlyWhenI, big_diel,  SpecialK, PandaDementia and jstolle for dinner on the outdoor patio of a very good (and popular!) Mexican restaurant, followed by a night at a karaoke bar.

Panda can sing, that girl is good!!!  Unfortunately the same could not be said of some of the other bar patrons.  Though the pretty brunette at the table behind me was a pleasure to watch AND listen too!  We could have done without the crowd of drunk TCU idiots who showed up around midnight, but I didn’t let their antics spoil my fun.

Thanks to everyone I visited with yesterday, it was well worth the trip!!

Day 247- Blackbird

No, not an actual bird, this is the Lockhead SR-71 Blackbird, one of the most impressive aircraft ever.  It was the fastest and highest flying operational aircraft ever built, capable of flying in excess of 2,200 miles per hour at an altitude of 80,000 feet.  Only 32 were ever built, this one is on display at Lackland AFB here in San Antonio.

On Saturday I’m driving up to the Dallas-Ft Worth area and spending the night there. I’m meeting several friends, 2 I’ve met before and others I don’t really know, for dinner and a night out, so I’m pretty sure that I’ll have some stories to tell when I return.  I’m not bringing my computer by Sundays picture of the day will be posted later in the day when I return.

Today’s the day!

Sometime Friday morning Veronica will be boarding a flight and heading to Dallas, arriving early in the afternoon.  As soon as I get out of “work” on Friday, I’ll be getting in my truck and hightailing it north to join her.

The occasion? Sunday is our 17th wedding anniversary.

Anyone care to guess how long it’ll take once we’re behind closed doors for our clothes to come off?

On Monday Veronica asked if I was going to stay “hands-off” this week so that I would be that much more pent up when we get together.  Who am I to disappoint my little cum bunny? I course I did as she asked, I haven’t cum since Sunday!  I asked her to pack some of our restraints and her glass butt-plug, it promises to be a very good weekend :-)

We’re working on putting together a little blogger meet-up for Saturday evening, any Dallas-area friends care to join us for some fun and friendship? We always enjoy meeting blogger friends!

HNT- It’s the OsShirt!!!

So that party I hinted about in yesterday’s Wanton Wednesday post?  If you read Osbasso’s post last week about a blogger party at BTExpress’s place in NY last weekend, you might have figured out what I was referring to!

Once I had my plans in place to surprise my family in NY for Darling Boy’s 10th birthday last Saturday, I contacted BTExpress, let him know about my scheme and asked if Veronica and I could drop in on the party. Fortunately he said yes….

Mr HNT himself Osbasso was there, along with the OsShirt, so of course I had to be the next in line to wear it!

A few days ago I unexpectedly found myself invited to join a lovely young lady in a pool.  I wasn’t prepared to go swimming, so I just stripped down to my Calvin’s and dove right in.

Of course, once I got out, I had to take them off  *Click-click* ;-)

Over the course of the last 4 1/2 days that I have been on the road from Boston to San Antonio, I’ve been alone most of the time, but I certainly haven’t been lonely!

To Minority Report, SexyTigerX and two other friends that I had the pleasure of meeting, thank you for your company.

To the numerous people have responded with various forms of “have a safe trip!” whenever I tweeted something about getting on the road again, thank you for thinking of me.

Day 191- Desolate

That’s how I felt for a large part of Friday, for 530 miles of driving, all but about 35-40 of those miles on I-85…

And once I got to Atlanta and went for a late-evening walk to stretch my legs.

On the bright side, my day started with meeting the wonderful SexyTigerX formerly CrystalGirl for breakfast.  You think she’s a sweetie online? You should meet her in person!

Saturday evening should provide me with some good photo opportunities- I’ll be stopping for the night in Baton Rouge, LA but plan on hitting N’awlins for a bit first.  I’ve been there 3 times since Hurricane Katrina but have never seen any of the areas that were so hard hit by the storm, so perhaps I’ll explore those areas, see how they’re looking almost 5 yrs later.

Anyone in that area wanna say hi? I’m 2-for-2 for days on the road and meeting friends, help me keep the streak alive!

Day 190- Meeting Minority Report

In yesterday’s HNT post I mentioned the possibility of meeting some bloggers along the way to Texas, knowing full well that I already had plans to meet Minority Report for lunch.  She works pretty close to the route I would be taking, so I asked her to suggest some places to eat.

This is one of the places she suggested.  Based solely on the name, we HAD to eat there!

MR is a very pleasant young woman and it was entirely my pleasure to take a break from the seemingly endless drive yesterday and enjoy her company for a short while!

Driving to the diner, I was experiencing a sense of deja vu, like I had been there before.

And then I realized, I WAS there before!

Of all the places to suggest for lunch, the diner was literally down the street from the hotel that Veronica and I shacked up in for one night of fun and fucking with SwingerWife and her husband, almost 2 years ago!  Many of you probably don’t remember my old blogspot blog, and SwingerWife’s blog is long gone, but when Veronica and I were taking our first tentative baby steps into the swinging lifestyle, SW was our long-distance mentor and guide.  She and I have fallen out of touch, but being back in that area, seeing the hotel we stayed at and the restaurant where we had dinner brought back some pleasant memories.

Today, another 500 miles or so of driving and a night in Atlanta….
